Obituary

Marguerite Ralston, 86, of Rockford died at 10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 1992 in Alma Nelson Manor.

Born Feb. 17, 1906, in Caledonia, the daughter of James and Maggie McDonald McNair. Married George Gavin Ralston in Caledonia, Nov. 18, 1933; he died in 1957.

She taught at Caledonia schools and Walker School before retiring from Spring Creek School in 1972. Member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her son, Keith Ralston, Rockford; two grandchildren, Gavin and Erin Ralston; sister, Marion Ellen Greenlee; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson, Scott McNair Ralston, Dec. 5, 1980.

Services were held Thursday, Dec. 24, in DELAHANTY FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 401 River Lane, with the Rev. Michael W. Spangler, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial in Argyle Scottish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Argyle Scottish Cemetery. ^[4]
