1736 “From our Mens Meeting held at Conte Hall in the County of Cavan & Kingdom of Ireland ye 21st of 2d ano 1736.
“To frds in Pensylvania in America to whom this may come or concern
“Dear friends whereas Isaiah McNiece who hath lived within the compass of our meeting these Twenty yeares and hath been one of our sd. mens meeting these severall years past is about to remove from hence with some of his children (he being a widower) to Pensylvania aforesaid and hath desired our certificate which we give as followeth That he the sd. Isaiah McNiece as far as we know by him hath been of a sober orderly conversation a Civill & peaceable neighbour and Industrious in his outward Business having a large family which kept him low in the World especially since the death of his Wife yet as it appears to us he leaves this place clear of debt. So wishing his Welfare every way recommending him to the Trust and your tender regard with brotherly love to you we remain your loving friends. :John Crawford
