Biography

Catherine McNiff was born in Hastings, Minnesota on 22 March 1852 to John McNiff and Brigett McDermott, both of whom were Irish immigrants. She married Joseph Carroll around 1868.^[1] By 1880, they had 4 children ages 0-7.^[2] They had 9 known children in total. Catherine died in 1939. She is buried at Saint Martins Catholic Cemetery^[3]
