Martha McPherson was born in Cherokee County, Georgia on 11 April 1853. [1] She and James Daniel Baker were married in Cherokee County, Georgia on 3 September, 1873. [2] (A copy of their marriage record can be seen here: [1]) According to her death certificate, she died May 26, 1926 in Cave Spring, Floyd County, Georgia. [3] She was buried at Jackson Chapel Cemetery in Polk County, about 3 miles from Cave Spring. [1]
