Biography
Jane McQuiggin left Australia in 1895 for Ireland, married James McKee who had also been in Australia for some time, also returning to Ireland. James died about 1898. Jane never returned to Australia. Jane's younger brother John Wright McQuiggin travelled to Ireland to visit her in 1912 hoping that she would return with him to Australia but she was too ill to make the trip. "From 'Picton Post ' 16 April 1913 DEATHS MCKEE 6 March 1913 Tievemore, Glenburn Park, Belfast JANE MCKEE daughter of the late Arthur McQuiggin of Picton."
