Biography
Austin was born Aug. 10, 1846 in Dayton, Wayne Twp., Armstrong Co., Pennsylvania.. He was the son of James McQuown and Mary A. Unknown.
He married Christena Unknown about 1874. Their children were:
1. Grace McQuown, b. 1876 in Putneyville, Pennsylvania, m. Isaac Zebulon Jetton in Morgan Co., Illinois, d. 1945 in Bloomington, Illinois.
2. John E. McQuown, b. 1872, d. 1936 in Concord Twp., Morgan Co., Illinois and was buried with his parents in Concord Cemetery. In the 1920 Census, aged 47, he was living with his mother in Concord.
He passed away Aug. 13, 1918 in Concord Twp., Morgan Co., Illinois and was buried with his wife in Concord Cemetery.
