Carrie P. McSwiney was born 2 September 1874 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Eugene Mcswiney and Laura Henderson. ^[1]

Carrie married first William J. Hugh Headrick 16 January 1898 in Humphreys, Tennessee. ^[2] After the death of her first husband, Carrie married second Alton G. Williams. ^[3]
