William was born 29 Aug 1875 in Livingston, Kentucky to parents, William C McClure Sr and Mary Elizabeth Winders. He married Ella Jane (Wring) McClure on 13 Oct 1909 in Marion, Crittenden, Kentucky.^[1] He died 15 Jun 1941 in Livingston, Kentucky and was buried in Pinckneyville Cemetery. ^[2]
