Biography
Hannah was born in 1752. She was the daughter of Jonathan Mead and Sarah Guernsey. She passed away in 1831.
Errors in Trees
Given that there are other Hannah Meads, including two born near her age (these being her 2nd Cousin 1x removed Hannah (Mead) Wheeler and her 3rd cousin Hannah (Mead) Mead it is easy to see where confusion abounds. Also, Spencer P, Mead's 1901 work that erroneously cut off her branch of the family did not help. (See entry on her father Jonathan Mead for more info on that.) Luckily the error was corrected with Lucius E. Weaver's 1917 work.
