Benjamin Means, born in 1780, Randolph County, North Carolina; died about 1833, Clinton County, Kentucky.
1st married, 10 Feb 1801, Randolph Co, NC, ELLENDA BICKERDITE. No known issue.
2nd married, 29 September 1803, Randolph Co, NC, SARAH MULLIS, born in 1781, North Carolina; died between 1860-1870, Clinton County, Kentucky.
Benjamin moved in 1807 with the rest of his father's family to Overton County, Tennessee and lived on the West Fork of the Obed River. About 1818-1820, he moved across the state line and settled o Sulphur Lick Branch, a tributary of the Wolf River in Clinton County, Kentucky.
