Biography
Elizabeth was born on 17 May 1873 in Kirkmichael, Ayrshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of Andrew Meldrum and Margaret Macpherson[1][2]
In 1881 'Lizzie' was living in Kirkmichael, Banffshire, Scotland with parents and siblings.[3]
In 1891 'Elsie' (age 21) was still living with her parents and siblings in Bulbain, Kirkmichael, Banffshire. She was a Dressmaker.[4]
In 1901 census Elsie (age 31) was stilll living with her parents in Bulbain, Kirkmichael, Banffshire. She was a General Servant (domestic).[5]
Elizabeth McPherson married Alexander McPherson in Scotland 1907 in Inverallan.[6]
Eliz McPherson, age 35, left Glasgow, Scotland 4 Jun 1910,[7] with her husband Alex, age 34, and children Andrew, age 2, and Margaret, age 6 months, arriving in Quebec, Canada on 12 Jun 1910 on Cassandra. [8]
In the 1911 census Elizolp (age 36) was the wife of Alex Mc Pherson at 21th St W, British Columbia. She was a None NG.[9]
In the 1921 census Elizabeth was listed as a widow, living with her children in North Vancouver, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Marital Status: Widowed; Relation to Head of House: Head.[10]
Elizabeth died at the age of 79 on 7 February 1953 in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.[11]
