Biography

Some claim that Obediah's middle name was Roy, but no one has presented evidence for this.

"Obediah Mellott, the son of John and Sarah Mellott, was born in 1755, and while no birth records exist, it is thought that he was born near Egg Harbor, New Jersey. He married Mary Wink and the couple had nine children. Following Mary Wink's death, he married Mary Daniels and had seven additional children."^[1]
