Biography

Louis Eugene Menegay was born on 7 February 1829, in France, to Claude François Menegay and Marie Ursulle Felicité Anzelot.[1][2]

Louis departed Le Havre, France, with his parents and siblings aboard the Tuskina, and arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana, on 19 April 1848.[3]

Louis married on 28 March 1853, in Stark, Ohio, to Mary Pierson.[4]

He died on 24 December 1913, in Stark, Ohio, and is buried in Saint Louis Cemetery, Louisville, Stark, Ohio.[2][5]

He and Mary had the following known children:[6]
