When Amelia was 22 she married on 15 October 1847. at Binghamton by Rev. Andrews^[2]

When Amelia was about 51 she married Lewis S. Abbott in 1876. The couple had 2 children: Fannie M. Abbott and Mary W Abbott.^[2]
