Biography
Birth
George was baptised at St Leonard's, Eynsham on 25th December 1799.[1] He was the son of Richard Merry and Ann (Launchberry) Merry.
Marriage
George Merrey and Elizabeth Woodward were married at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 25th January 1819.[2] Both were of the parish and married by banns. They both signed their names on the register and the witnesses to the marriage were John Woodward, Hannah Panting and Hannah Turner.
