Biography
Frank Merryman was ruled to have committed suicide with a shotgun.
This was a very controversial finding, since there were many other odd facts in the case:
His wife had sent their adopted children away for the night, the use of a shotgun for suicide, his disputed depression, a planned divorce and property transfer earlier that same year, etc.
Over time, some believed his wife to be a "black widow", based on other marriage histories.
