Not convinced that Margaret Dewcell is the Wife of Messenger 475, I will have to do some research on this, my feeling is that the Dewcells of Gloucester were too rich and powerful to be marrying into the Cricklade Messengers, who were only yeoman farmers. The Dewcells /Dexwell were connected with the very rich and very powerful Messengers of Gloucester, Both being landed gentry. More to follow...
