Mary Anne Metzger was born on June 2, 1859 in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, daughter of Jacob Metzger (1818–1878) and Barbara Elizabeth Emmerich (1839–1890).
Mary had a brother, Henry Patrick Metzger (1864–1937).
In 1870, Ann Metzgar (11) was living in the household of her parents Jacob and Elizabeth Metzgar in Long Prairie, Mississippi, Missouri.[1]
Mary (18) married Thomas Elijah Hinton (21) (born on March 14, 1856 in Allen, Kentucky, United States; son of William Haden Hinton and Sarah Jane (Williams) Hinton) about 1878 in Missouri.
Mary died on September 23, 1905 in Mississippi, Missouri, aged 46.[2] She was buried in Dogwood Cemetery, Dogwood, Missouri.
