Biography

Jean Baptiste was born about 1798, the son of Isaac Michaud and his first wife, Theotiste Godin. His mother died when he was about 10, and his father remarried the next year. He married Elizabeth Ouabart dite Langlois at age 31 and worked as a farmer. Jean Baptiste passed away in 1836 at 38 years old, 7 months before his son Basile was born.
