Arthur Michie was born in New South Wales, Australia
Arthur Gordon Michie was born about 1908 in Bombala, New South Wales, Australia, son of Arthur George Michie (1875–1952) and Caroline Elizabeth Thomas (1876–1948).[1]
Arthur (39) married Josephine Mary MacIntosh (35) (born about 1912) on May 29, 1948 in Broken Hill, New South Wales. [2]
Michie — Mclntosh The marriage took place on May 29 at the- Cathedral of Josephine Mclntosh to Gordon Michie. only son of Mr. A; T. Michie, and nephew of the Rev..Mlchie N.S.W.. Father shannon officiating. The bride were a silver grey ensemble, trimmed with gold sequins, and for some thing old she carried the prayer book and rosary beads of Madame Scarfe. Miss Barbara Baker placed a horseshoe on the arm of the bride as she was leavlng the church. The reception was held at 183 Hall street. [3]
Arthur died on March 21, 1971 in Broken Hill, New South Wales, aged about 62.[4]
