Biography

William was born about 1806 in Kent, England.

On the 26th June 1831, William Middleton, bachelor and Sarah Butcher, spinster, married at All Saints, Frindsbury, Kent, England. Witnessed by John Cogger and Caroline Colgate.[1]

William and his family emigrated between 1854 and 1856.

In 1860, William, Sarah and their children were living in Serena Township, LaSalle, Illinois, United States.[2]
