Biography

Henry was born about 1770, possibly in Massachusetts or New York. He married Mary Nieuman and raised their family in Sussex County, New Jersey before moving to Niagara County, New York.

Donald Smith The two birth sources above are for children of Henry. No source is offered for Henry's birth or parents. There is a birth record for a Henry Meyer, son of (linked father) John Miers and Mary in Sussex County, NJ ^[1] " but the birth date is noted as 25 Nov. 1760. That birth year does not conflict with the birth of first dau Catherine in 1787.
