Ernest Miller is Notable.
Ernest was born in 1869. He was the son of Jonathan Miller and Margaret Springer. Ernest became a lawyer. He was persuaded by Premier McBride to enter politics. He became the MLA for Grand Forks, and he resided there for a few years. He became the best debater in the House, adviser to the Premier and member of the council. He was very well liked and respected and spent much time working on the things that were important to the Boundary Country. He was united in marriage on December 31, 1899 to Jean H. Ross, daughter of Walter and Elizabeth Ross. They had two children, Ernest Ross & Helen G. who wed Herbert Peterson. He left Grand Forks after his time of MLA and moved back to New Westminster, where he took up his position as lawyer once again. He passed away in 1924.
