John was born in 1826. He was the son of Christian Miller and Susanna Flory. The 1850 census shows him living with his parents and siblings in Rockingham County, Virginia. [1]In about 1851 he married Rebecca Jane Long. The 1870 census shows him living with his wife and children in Rockingham County, Virginia.[2] The 1880 census shows him living in Rockingham County, Virginia, with his children, engaged in farming. His first wife was deceased at this point.
[3] In 1882 he married Mary Snell.[4] John passed away in 1890.[5]
