1850 US Census Sarah Jane Miller was living in West Township, Columbiana County, Ohio with her parents, Jonathan Miller (33, Cabinet Maker) and Eliza Miller (30) along with her three siblings Lydia (9), Lavina (7), and George (1). All were born in Ohio except her father was born in Pennsylvania.[1]
1880 US Census Sarah Jane (Miller) Wells was living in Mt. Vernon, Jefferson, Illinois, United States with her husband William T. Wells (54, Carpenter) along with their four children: Sarah E. Wells (19); Samuel E. Wells (15); William L. Wells (10); and Maggie A. Wells (2).[2]
