Some Ancestry trees show that he had three wives:

• Susan Elizabeth Abernethy, born 1887, died 22 September 1926, married 1910
• Jean M, married by 1930
• Golda Mae, married by 1940

However, his marriage record to Golda shows that the couple married in 1927, so she was most likely the "Jean M" listed in the 1930 census. It appears that the first letter of her name, G, was confused with Jean.
