Rufus Mills is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Rockford, Illinois.

Rufus was born in 1783 in Connecticut. He was the son of Roger Mills and Abigail Griswold. ^[1]

He married Charlotte Hibbard in 1812. ^[2]

They lived in Kirkland, New York.^[3][4]

They came to Rockford with their daughter Charlotte and son-in-law in 1869. ^[5]

He passed away in 1871 in Rockford.
