When Andrew Jackson Mills was born on 19 June 1819, his father, William Mills, was 45 and his mother, Abigail Burnett, was 42. He married Eliza Prouty on 16 September 1844, in Geauga, Ohio, United States.[1] They were the parents of at least 3 daughters.
The 1850 U.S. Census finds him in Geauga, Ohio with a wife and two daughters.[2] By 1855 a third daughter had been born and the family was living in Menasha, Winnebago, Wisconsin.[3] In 1860 the family lived in Grand Chute, Outgamie, Wisconsin.[4] By 1870 daughter Mardula was married and the rest of the family lived in Neenah, Winnebago, Wisconsin and the family remained in that area until Andrew's death in 1914.[5], [6], [7], [8], [9], [10]
Andrew's wife Eliza died in 1904 and Andrew lived on another ten years, until the age of 95. He died 26 July 1914, in Neenah, Winnebago, Wisconsin, United States, at the age of 95, and was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah, Winnebago, Wisconsin, United States.[11]
