Biography

Zerilda was born about 1822. She was the daughter of John Melton and Martha Webster. She married in 1839 to William Henry Harrison Brown. They married the same day her sister Nancy Milton was married to James Burnes, and by their uncle, Vardeman W. Webster. Zerilda administered the estate of her deceased husband in 1852.

Zerilda again married in 1862 to Stephen F. Rosell, the bond was signed by J. D. Milton, who was possibly her brother David Milton. Stephen Rosell was the widower husband of her sister Jurandia Milton.

Zerilda is thought to have passed prior to 1870.
