Christopher was born in 1920. He was the son of James Minchin and Violet Ada Fuller.
He fought in the Second World War, 12 Squadron with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, Service No: 172470.
Christopher was taking part in the great raid on Nuremberg, Germany and, flying from RAF Wickenby, was shot down near Holzeim, killing all his crew. It was to be the raid with the greatest losses to Bomber Command with 545 airmen killed.
Christopher died between 30 and 31 March 1944. He was 23 years of age.
He and his brother Douglas are named on the War Memorial at Buckland in Surrey, England.

Note: Burial services were held on 1 Apr 1944 at Holzheim. They have all been subsequently re-interred in the Rheinberg War Cemetery.
