Biography

When William Anderson Mingea was born on November 9, 1835, in Athens, Alabama, his father, Micajah, was 24 and his mother, Jane, was 22. He married Louisa H. Eckerburger on September 3, 1860, in Limestone, Alabama. He died on February 11, 1880, in his hometown at the age of 44, and was buried there. William Anderson Mingea was born on 09 Nov 1835 in Athens, Limestone County, Alabama as the second child of Micajah Mingea and Jane Meacham. He had nine siblings, namely: Mary Ann, John E., George Dudley, Catherine Jane, Araminta, Martha Amanda, James H., Samuel Micajah, and Virginia Louise. He died on 11 Feb 1880 in Athens, Limestone County, Alabama. When he was 24, he married Louisa Eckerberger Mingea on 09 Sep 1860 in Athens, Limestone County, Alabama.
