Mr. Stuart L. Mings, 61, of Fallen Timber Road, Sulphur, died Sunday, September 23, 1984, at the Baptist East Hospital, Louisville. He was a farmer, a native and former resident of Oldham County, a member of the 18 Mile Baptist Church, the Henry County Farm Bureau and the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife: the former Sarah M. Wood, Sulphur; two daughters: Mrs. Sue Quinlan, Crestwood and Mrs. John L. Fischer, Jr., Pleasureville; one son: Thomas S. Mings, Smithfield; five sisters: Mrs. Mildred Wheeler, Mrs. Pearl Lack and Mrs. Louise Crowder, all of LaGrange, Mrs. Frances Young, Louisville and Mrs. Edna Satterly, Port Royal; one brother: Mr. Cornell Mings, LaGrange and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 26th at the Radcliffe Funeral Home, LaGrange. Rev. Clayton Klingenfus, pastor of the New Castle Christian Church, officiated. Interment was in the Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange.
