Biography
Sarah Minish was born in 1806/07, probably in Maryland, before her parents moved to Surry County, North Carolina.[1]
Spouse: Leonard Messick (1789-1874), married Jan 2, 1853[2]
Research Notes
She is in the 1860 Census, age 54 (born in 1806), along with a, Sarah (age 42, born in 1818), from Leonard's first marriage. In the 1870 Census, the only Sarah Messick was born in 1816. In 1850, there was a Sally Minish living with the Willie Messick family in Surry County.[3]
