Biography
Sarah Miracle was the daughter of Andrew and Rhoda Sizemore Miracle. Her birthdate is uncertain as the census suggests that her year of birth was 1829 but when her death certificate was filled out, they used the year 1842. This tells us two things: Sarah aged well and that her son, William, was not the best at math.
Sarah married James Wilder about 1850. They raised their children in Harlan, Kentucky.
She died in 1916. Cause of death was not listed as there was no physician. She was buried in the Preston Miracle Cemetery.
