Zilpha was born in 1847. She was the daughter of David Mitchell and Eliza Jewett.
She married Franklin M. "Frank" Rogers (1846–1904). They had the following children:
Albert David Rogers (1874–1946).
Cora M. Rogers (1876–1969).
Ernest John Rogers (1879–1943).
She passed away in 1928.
