Andrew Jackson Moat enlisted as a pvt. in company C in the 45th Alabama Reg. on the 1st. day of January 1864 at Dalton Georgia. Was a prisoner of War at Camp Douglas in Chicago Il. at Surrender. Was honorably discharged the 9th. day of May 1965.
