Moses was born in 1861. He was the son of Hilaire Monette and Marceline Perron. He passed away in 1947.

Moses Monette was the son of Hilaire (dob 1824) and Marceline Perron (dob 1829) Monette. Both born in Canada in the province of Quebec. t

Moses was born in Champlain, Clinton County, NY. He had 3 brothers, Gideon (1866), George (1868), John (1875), and one sister, Louisa (1870).

In 1883 he married Ellen Hebert and together they had 9 children; Wallace E, Carrie E, Ida U, Elmer A, Laura, Arthur, Eva M, Sadie, and Harry.

He and Ellen raised their family in Mooers, Clinton County, NY, where he made his living as a farmer.

Ellen passed away in 1919; and around 1930 Moses married Eliza.

Note

It does not seem plausible that he was a sibling of a younger brother named Moyse also born of Hilaire and Marceline Monet but in 1862 in St-Valentin, Canada-Est, That is, the names of Moses G.'s parents are not known.
