Biography
Marguerite was born on March 7, 1759 and baptised the following day in Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan, Canada, New France. Her parents were Pierre Lafond dit Mongrain and Anne Marie Ange Vézina.[1]
She married Pierre Périgny, son of Pierre Jean Périgny and Élisabeth Hamel, on January 16, 1786 in Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan, Province of Québec.[2]
