Jasper Monroe Jr is a part of US Black heritage.

Jasper was born between 1859-1862 in Albemarle, Virginia to Jasper and Rebecca Johnson Monroe. He is listed with his parents on both: the 1870 Census^[1] and the 1880 Census.^[2] In November of 1882 he married Miss Charlotte Ford:

Jasper is listed as widowed by the time of the 1900 Census^[4] He is also listed as widowed on the 1920 Census^[5] indicating that it is unlikely that he remarried after Charlotte passed away. He passed away on May 18, 1930 in Augusta, Virginia.^[6]
