Biography
Nicholas was born in 1712, in St Mary's county, Maryland, a son of Thomas Richard Moore. Nicholas married Diana Gentle, a daughter of George Gentle, of Prince George's county, Maryland. His wife was remembered in her father's Will of 1743, as "Dinah More." [1]
Nicholas and Diana became the parents of five children before he died in 1769, at the age of 57, in Saint Mary's City, St Mary's county, Maryland. [2]
