Alexander Leeper, James Leeper, John Smith, Esther Smith his wife, George Lyon Polly Lyon his wife, Joseph Codington Jane Codington his wife, John Renfro & Elizabeth Renfro his wife, Heirs and legatees of Amy Leeper Deceased all of the County of Barren & State of Kentucky of the one part, and Weston Leeper of the County and State aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars, to them in hand paid before the saling and delivering these presents hath bargained sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell, unto the said Weston Leeper a certain tract or parcel of land, lying and being in the county aforesaid on the waters of Fallen Timber Creek, Containing one hundred acres which was deeded to Amy Leeper on the 28th day of March 1807 by John Garnett and bounded as follows, Towit, Beginning on a Beach Sugar tree and hack-berry thence East 191 poles to three sugartree and Elm, thence South 84 poles to a stake in the dividing line between E Rogars & John Garnets original Surveys thence West, 191 Poles to Ash hickory Poppaw thence north 84 poles to the Beginning To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land unto the said Weston Leeper his Heirs & Assigns forever and we the said William Leeper, Robert Leeper, John Leeper, Alexander Leeper, James Leeper, John Smith, Esther Smith his wife, George Lyon Polly Lyon his wife, Joseph Cottendon Jane Cottinton his wife John Renfro, and Elizabeth Renfro his wife for themselves theirr Heirs do by these presents covenant and agree to Warrant and forever Defend the free simple right and title of the aforesaid tract or parcel of land with the appentenances thereunto belonging unto the said Weston Leeper his Heirs and assigns forever against the claim of all and every person or persons whatsoever. Given under our hands Seals this 30th day of April 1831. Wm B Cook [Seal] and Wm Lyon {Seal} Barren County, To wit, I William Logan Clerk of the County Court for the County aforesaid do Certify that the within Deed from the Heirs of Amy Leeper to Weston Leeper was on the 20th day of June 1831, proved before me to the the act and Deed of Robert Leeper, John Leeper, Alexander Leeper, James Leeper, John Smith, George Lyon, Joseph Codington and John Renfro by the Oaths of Giles Kelly and Elijah Harper and thereupon the said deed and this Certificate together with the Certificate of relinquishment of Dower thereto annexed were duly Recorded in my office.
