Biography
John Henry Morcom was born in 1867 in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia, son of Thomas Morcom (1841–1896) and Johanna May (~1847–1874).[1]
In 1888, he married Elizabeth Jane Bevelee Smith. [2]
John died in 1930 in South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, aged 63. [3][4]
- MORCOM-On the 18th October, at the residence of his son in law (Mr. H. Evans) 345 Danks Street, Middle Park, John Henry, the dearly beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Jane Morcom and loving father of John (deceased), Adelaide (Mrs. Wood), Roy, Fred, Sylvia (Mrs. Evans), Tom, George, Myra (Mrs. Bell) and Ron, aged 63 years, late of Bendigo - Some time we will understand.[5]
