Winifred Mordaunt was born in Turvey, Bedfordshire, in about 1520, the daughter of John Mordaunt and Elizabeth de Vere. She married John Chesney at Chesham Mansion around 1535 - and died at Chesham-Bois in July 1561.
There is a Winifred Mordaunt that shows up on the Tudor Roll of the Blood Roya,l but I am not certain it's the same lady.
