Biography

Ruth Addiebelle Morgan was born on Jan 22, 1930 in Okemah Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Roy Virgil Morgan and Lillie Maybell Holland. Ruth married Lee Eston Shugart on Oct 26, 1946. She passed away on Feb 23, 2011 in Plainview Texas and was laid to rest in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview Texas.^[1]

Obituary

Graveside services for Ruth Shugart of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Parklawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John Powell officiating. Services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Shugart died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, in Plainview. She was born in Okemah, Okla., to Roy and Lillie Morgan.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Billy and Sandra Shugart of Plainview and Robert Shugart of Palestine, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Bobbye and Jerald Greenhaw of Plainview; one brother, Samuel Winford Morgan of Dallas; one sister, Thelma Morton of Tahoka; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Four sisters and three brothers are deceased.
