Biography

Mildred Mary Morison was born at Nowra, NSW, in 1886.^[1] She was the daughter of John Morison and Sarah Levy.

She married Bertrand Matthew Cox in Sydney on the 13th of April, 1905.^[2][3]

Mildrid divorced Bertrand in 1929, on the grounds of desertion,^[3] made absolute in 1930.^[4]

She remarried to Hedley Walter Jordan Moss at Bulli, NSW, in 1933.^[5]

She died at Moss Vale, NSW, on the 10th of November, 1971,^[6][7] and was interred in the Bong Bong Presbyterian cemetery.^[8][9]

   COX v COX. Mildred Mary Cox (formerly Morison) sued for a divorce from Bertrand Matthew Cox on the ground of desertion. The parties were married on April 13, 1905, at Sydney, according to the Presbyterian rites. Respondent did not appear and his Honor granted petitioner a decree nisi returnable in six months. Mr. Studdert (instructed by Mr. C. J. Passmore) appeared for the petitioner.
