George passed away on 5 June 1945 in New South Wales and was buried at Glen Innes General Cemetery in Glen Innes, New South Wales, Australia.[1]

OBITUARY
MR. G. W. MORLEY
The death occurred in the Glen Innes District Hospital on Tuesday of Mr George William Morley, an old and well-known resident of Red Range, aged 79 years. His widow, together with a daughter, Mrs Harry Webber (Red Range), and a son, Mr. Rupert Morley (Red Range). The funeral took place yesterday to the Church of England portion of the Glen Innes cemetery, after service commencing at 3.30 p.m. in the Holy Trinity Church. R. T. Lightfoot and Co. had charge of the funeral arrangements.
