Betty (in her birth and marriage records) Morrill, or Betsy or Betsey as she appears in other records including some of her children's births, was born at Nottingham, New Hampshire in 1768 to John and "Eliabeth" Morrill. She married Jonathan Noyes on 19 November 1788 in New Hampshire, likely at Nottingham; the couple moved north to Landaff in Grafton County. Betsy died at Landaff in the winter of 1840.
Note: the dual marriage records of 19 November 1788 for Jonathan Noyes and Betty Morrill show no town. Two other duplicate records exist for the marriage on 18 November 1788, at Pembroke (about 10 miles west of Nottingham), of a John Noyes to a Betsy Haseltine. The coincidence merits further research to assure the correct identity of Jonathan Noyes's spouse.
