Elizabeth loved flowers and had a large flower garden. She enclosed a porch to make a glass porch to keep flowers in. She is buried in the Tylerville cemetery

This edition reported a baby boy, Reuben Eli, was born to Charles and Elizabeth Maltby. It did not give an exact day in April 1901 and there is no further information in the paper. Family stories are that Libbie suffered several miscarries and this may have been one of them.
