Capt. John was born in 1794. Capt. John Morrow ... He passed away in 1846.[1]
It's not clear where this information came from, but for purposes of preventing errant merges, the father of Elizabeth Morrow Mann is not John Morrow (dates commonly given as 1794-1846) m. Mary Haddix, because they married in Kentucky and settled in Missouri by 1840, and 1848 estate records of his half-sister list his children. He is also not the John Morrow of Haywood Co, NC who married Mary Ann Bivens--he was born 1806, and they married in 1826.
