Biography

Daniel Webster Morrow was born in Arkansas and died in Oregon. Per his death certificate, he died 28 Jan 1937 at the age of 95 years and 4 days, and his parents were Benjamin F. Morrow and Eliza Ward.[1]

He is on the 1850 Fed Census with his parents Benjamin F and Eliza (Hall) Morrow living in Big Creek, Crawford, Arkansas with his siblings William C 11, Eveline 9, Lucinda 7, and Winfield S 1.[2]

He is also with his family on the 1860 Fed Census in Bates, Sebastian, Ark there are two new siblings Milid F 8 and Susan J 4.[3]

Dan married his wife Jane Clementine Townsend about 1867 in Arkansas.

In 1870 Dan and his wife Jane are living in Arkansas and have their first daughter Alice who is 10/12 months old the census was taken in June.[4]

On the 1880 Fed Census with the couple there are 3 daughters born in Arkansas and 1 born in Idaho and 2 sons born in Oregon.[5]

The 1900 Fed Census states that Dan and his wife Jane have been married 33 years and they had 5 children, 5 are still living and all are living in the house with them. The children are Naomi 27, Juna T 22, Charles E 20, Bissie 18, and Blanche 16. All of the children were born in Oregon except Naomi who was born in Arkansas.[6]

Dan and his wife Jane are on the 1910 Fed Census with 3 children and 2 grandchildren.[7]

Dan W is on the census as a widow in 1920 living with 2 children and 2 grandchildren.[8]

Daniel Webster Morrow has a find a grave record giving birth and death dates.[9]

Notes

His mother and younger siblings are on the 1870 Fed Census[10] His mother has a find a grave[11] as soon as her maiden name is verified she will have her own record.
